About Me

Meet the Painter Behind the Brush

Hi, I’m Dakota, the painter behind Blue Sky Interiors. Painting runs in my family — my mom, an Arkansas native, owns a painting business in Iowa, where I got my start in the trade.

After traveling the U.S. in my camper for a few years, I chose to settle in Northwest Arkansas, drawn by its beauty and sense of home. With hands-on experience in residential interior painting, I decided to start my own business here and haven’t looked back.

When I’m not painting, I’m growing my homestead and spending time with my two dogs, two cats, and a growing flock of chickens, guineas, ducks, and geese.

This business is more than work — it’s part of the life I’m building here in Arkansas. I’d love to bring that same care and detail into your home.
